We recommend cool, comfortable, casual wear in natural fibres and neutral colours for game viewing and bush walking. For the cooler evenings and winter months, we recommend you bring warm outer clothing. Flat heeled, comfortable walking shoes are the most appropriate footwear. Don’t forget your binoculars and camera!

Health

Although Shangani is within a malaria-free area, you are advised to take precautions against Malaria whilst traveling around Zimbabwe.

The official language in Zimbabwe is English. We will also be sure to teach you a few key phrases in isiNdebele, the native language of the local Matabele tribe.
